Question 1

Who is Kavi for?

Accepted Answer

Kavi is built for people who are great at what they do and have no interest in managing a website. If you work with people, help them grow, heal, or find their way, Kavi was built with you in mind. Yoga teachers, therapists, coaches, retreat leaders, sound healers, musicians, wellness studios, etc. The common thread isn't a job title. It's a mindset. You want a professional, thoughtful online presence. You just don't want to build or maintain it yourself. That's exactly who Kavi is for.

Question 2

What does "Kavi" mean?

Accepted Answer

Kavi is a Sanskrit word, similar to Rishi, meaning wise one, great seer, or visionary. It historically signifies someone who possesses deep inner insight, intelligence, and the ability to perceive what others miss. That spirit shapes how every Kavi site gets built. Each one is approached with genuine care and close attention. Not a template dropped into place, but a considered piece of work that reflects the person behind it.

Question 3

What happens after I apply?

Accepted Answer

I review every application personally and you'll hear back within a few days. If it's a good fit, you'll receive a welcome email with everything you need to get started. A strategic onboarding flow walks you through sharing your story, offerings, and photos. From there I create a design strategy, get your approval, build your site, and we launch.

Question 4

How long does the build take?

Accepted Answer

Most sites launch within 3 weeks of your membership activation. More complex projects may take a little longer. We'll set clear expectations early on. This timeline assumes you're responsive and actively engaged. Our onboarding flow is designed to ask all the right questions, so we have everything we need before we start building.

Question 5

What if I already have a website or domain?

Accepted Answer

No problem. We'll review what you have, salvage everything worth keeping, and rebuild it properly on Kavi. Same content, better home. We can connect your existing domain or register a new one on your behalf for around $20/year.

Question 6

What is the one-year commitment?

Accepted Answer

Your site is a custom build. The one-year term lets us recoup that investment and keep monthly costs low for you. Think of it like paying off an agency-quality site at a fraction of the normal cost. After 12 months you have three options: stay on at $49/month ($89 without badge) with edits and maintenance included, switch to hosting-only for $19/month (no updates included; content changes billed at $80/hour), or take your code to host and manage anywhere with no questions asked.

Question 7

When is my first payment due?

Accepted Answer

Your first payment is due when your build begins, at membership activation. If you're accepted into the queue, nothing is due while you wait; you'll pay when your slot opens. You can pay monthly or annually. Not happy during the build? Cancel any time before we go live for a full refund. We're here to help you succeed, not lock you into something.

Question 8

Can I make changes myself?

Accepted Answer

You don't have to. Your Kavi membership includes 4 free site edits per month. Log into the Kavi app, send your updates, and we handle everything. Prefer to manage your own blog or event calendar? We'll set you up with a simple content interface so you can do that yourself.

Question 9

Does Kavi use AI?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and transparently so. AI helps build and maintain sites efficiently, which is how Kavi keeps costs low without cutting corners. Routine tasks are handled by AI, while strategy, design, creative direction, and every final decision are led by Sean, drawing on 20 years of experience and a deep understanding of the wellness world. Every Kavi project is human-led, backed by AI.

Question 10

Why not just use AI to build a website myself?

Accepted Answer

You can build your own site. And the result will probably look like it. AI tools are genuinely impressive at generating something that resembles a website. But resembling a website and having one that actually works for your practice are different things. Good web design requires an understanding of color theory, typography, user experience, conversion, and how your specific audience makes decisions. Without that foundation, most AI-generated sites look generic, feel off-brand, and do little to attract the right clients. There's also everything that happens after launch. Hosting, security, updates, bugs, broken integrations. That's real time you'd spend away from your work and your life. With Kavi, none of it lands on you. Kavi uses AI too. The difference is 20 years of experience directing it, and a human who stays accountable for everything after your site goes live. You focus on your practice. We handle the rest.
